Description: (Covington, KY) – On February 9, beginning at 4pm, UpTech will host a first-of-its-kind career fair, UPLINK, at its headquarters in Covington, Kentucky. The goal of the event is to connect talented local students with startups who are looking to make new hires, both full-time and part-time, as well as who have internship opportunities.
With Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky quickly rising as a Midwestern hub for startups, connecting talent couldn’t be more important. UpTech is starting UPLINK as an outlet for students who are not looking for normal, corporate careers. Creative and technology-minded students who want more experience and responsibility, while getting a ‘say in the boardroom,’ are the ideal candidates for the event.
“UPLINK is going to provide access to local talent for a variety of startups seeking to add to their team. With greater awareness of our region’s startup culture, students are more eager to begin their career with an up-and-coming company. UPLINK will be the
event to establish these connections,” said Amanda Greenwell, program director of UpTech.
Information for Students
