FMLA wording on Labor Law Posters has been changed

On Tuesday, February 5, 2013, the Department of Labor released an updated FMLA posting* that is required to be posted by March 8, 2013. The update addresses expanded military caregiver leave and clarification of “serious injury or illness” and “serious health condition”.

The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives to offer the mandatory Kentucky and federal labor law posters at a discounted rate through the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.

To place your order, visit kychamber.com/posterprogram and make sure to choose the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.

New FMLA posters need to be in the workplace by March 8th. If you have not updated your FMLA poster, do it now.  *The FMLA poster is required for all covered employers, which means those with 50 or more employees. Public agencies and public and private elementary and secondary schools are also covered regardless of the number of employees.

The poster allows employers to share all relevant employment law details with its workforce through its laminated, easy-to-display format. Order your updated poster from the Kentucky Chamber today.
